Step 1: Matching & Initial Meeting
Once the surrogate's application and medical records are cleared, we arrange a meeting between the intended parents and the chosen surrogate to ensure a strong match.
Step 2: Psychological Screening
The surrogate completes a psychological evaluation with a licensed therapist to ensure emotional readiness.
Step 3: Medical Screening
After psychological clearance, the surrogate undergoes medical screening with an IVF doctor, including bloodwork, ultrasound, and additional testing if needed.
Step 4: Results & Clearance
Screening results are typically returned within 7-10 days.

Step 5: Legal Process
Once medically cleared, both parties move into the legal phase. SoCal Surrogacy provides trusted referrals for attorneys.
Step 6: Medication & Embryo Transfer
A reproductive nurse coordinates medication timelines and the embryo transfer, while our team stays in close communication with all parties.
Step 7: Pregnancy & Ongoing Support
At 12 weeks, care transitions to an obstetrician. SoCal Surrogacy continues to support both the surrogate and intended parents through pregnancy and delivery.
